Sweetser is one of Maine's largest behavioral health providers, operating a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) at its Brunswick campus. The clinic provides integrated, evidence-based substance use and mental health services with a 'no wrong door' approach — from outpatient therapy to crisis stabilization.

- Individual, couple, family, and group therapy
- Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
- Trauma therapy
- Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders
- Psychiatric medication management (adult and pediatric)
- Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit (short-term overnight stays)
- Mobile crisis services
- Peer support groups, workshops, and one-on-one guidance from certified peer specialists

What to expect
The Brunswick campus operates as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic. The peer center welcomes walk-ins Monday-Friday, 10 AM - 3 PM. For clinical services, call (800) 434-3000 to schedule an intake. For crisis situations, the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit provides short-term overnight stays.
