Who can use this?
Designed for Maine households that may not be eligible for, or have already exhausted, federal and state fuel assistance programs like HEAP. Funds are distributed through Community Action Agencies, which determine eligibility.
About this resource
Keep ME Warm is a statewide emergency fuel assistance fund established in 2008 through a partnership of Maine's United Ways and Community Action Programs. It is the only statewide fuel assistance fundraising effort in Maine, supplementing federal HEAP funds for households that have exhausted other resources.
