About this resource
KidsLegal, a specialized project within Pine Tree Legal Assistance, is the first children's rights project in the state of Maine. Launched in May 2004, KidsLegal provides free legal assistance to Maine's children and their caretakers, specializing in issues surrounding schools, courts, and LGBTQ+ matters. With staff attorneys across six offices statewide.
