Open to all community members. Discounts for seniors 60+, people with disabilities, and medical trips.

About this resource

Waldo Community Action Partners (WCAP) replaced Downeast Community Partners' transit service in October 2025 and now provides demand-response transportation throughout Washington and Hancock counties. In-town rides cost $3.00 (or a 12-punch card for $30). Longer trips cost $1.25/mile. A 50% discount is available for passengers 60+, individuals with disabilities, and those traveling to medical appointments.
