About this resource

The Emmaus Center Food Pantry operates out of the Emmaus Homeless Shelter at 51 Main Street in Ellsworth. While the shelter provides 25 beds for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, the food pantry serves the broader community. Anyone in need can access free food. The pantry is open six days a week and also distributes free fresh produce on Thursdays and Saturdays. A clothing closet is also available.

Walk in during pantry hours. No appointment needed. Call (207) 667-3962 the day before your visit to sign up for a food box. Fresh produce is first-come, first-served on Thursdays and Saturdays starting at 8:30 AM.

What to bring

Nothing required. Bags or boxes for carrying food are helpful but not necessary.
