About this resource

Healthy Acadia is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Hancock and Washington counties with community health initiatives. Their Healthy Food for All programs address food insecurity through multiple channels: the Downeast Gleaning Initiative collects surplus produce from local farms and redistributes it to 30+ food security programs; they coordinate the Hancock County Food Security Network; and they help increase access to farmers' markets for low-income families through SNAP/EBT matching programs.
