About this resource

Friends of Feral Felines has been humanely reducing the feral cat population in Cumberland and York counties since 1993 through their Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. They provide free spay/neuter for feral and stray cats, operate a barn cat relocation program for cats that cannot be socialized, and have socialized cats available for adoption. The organization is entirely volunteer-run and operates from the Odd Fellows Building at Woodford's Corner in Portland.

What to expect

Call (207) 797-3014 to report a feral cat colony, request a humane trap, or inquire about the barn cat or adoption programs. Volunteers will guide you through the TNR process and coordinate with participating veterinary clinics.
