About this resource
Midcoast Humane was formed from the merger of Coastal Humane Society and Lincoln County Animal Shelter. The organization has a staff of 30 including their own veterinarian, and over 100 active volunteers. They hold contracts with 38 towns along Maine's Midcoast, caring for nearly 5,000 stray, abused, or abandoned animals annually.
