Free early childhood education and family support for income-eligible families with children ages 0-5. Centers located in Presque Isle, Fort Kent, Easton, Caribou, and Houlton.
Who can use this?
Families with children ages 0-5 who meet federal income guidelines. Families receiving TANF, SSI, or in foster care are automatically eligible. Families experiencing homelessness are also eligible.

ACAP Head Start and Early Head Start provide free, comprehensive early childhood education for income-eligible families across Aroostook County. The program serves children from birth through age 5 with developmentally appropriate curriculum, health screenings, nutrition services, and family support.
