Kennebec Valley Community Action Program
Provides housing stabilization, homelessness prevention, home repair, weatherization, and homebuyer education for low-income residents of Kennebec and Somerset counties.
Who can use this?
Must reside in Kennebec, Somerset, Lincoln, or Sagadahoc counties. Most programs require income at or below 250% of the federal poverty level.

What to expect
Call to schedule an appointment. A caseworker will assess your housing situation and connect you with appropriate programs. Emergency funds may be available for immediate crisis.
What to bring
Proof of income (pay stubs, tax returns), photo ID, proof of residency, lease or mortgage documents, and utility bills if applicable.
