Who this helps
Monday-Wednesday service is limited to residents of Augusta and Manchester by appointment. Thursday surplus distribution is open to anyone regardless of where you live. No appointment needed.
How to get started
For Monday-Wednesday, call (207) 622-5225 to schedule an appointment (Augusta and Manchester residents only). For Thursday surplus distribution, no appointment needed. Doors open at 8:00 AM and close at 10:00 AM or when food runs out. Anyone is welcome on Thursdays.
How they can help.
Augusta Food Bank provides food assistance to residents of Augusta and Manchester through regular distributions and an open Thursday surplus program. Beyond direct service, they run a KidsPak program reaching 350 school children monthly, deliver food to homebound individuals, and partner with local organizations.
- Regular food distribution Mon-Wed 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM (appointment only, Augusta/Manchester residents)
- Free Food Thursday surplus distribution 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM (no appointment, open to all)
- KidsPak program for Augusta-area school children (350+ per month)

- Food share outreach through community partner organizations
