How to get started
Call or visit somebigs.org to start the enrollment process. The organization is currently operating remotely, so phone and email are the best ways to connect. Staff will work with you and your child to find a compatible mentor match.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Maine provides one-to-one youth mentoring throughout the southern Maine region. The organization matches young people (Littles) with adult volunteer mentors (Bigs) to build strong, positive relationships. As of late 2025, the team is working remotely while transitioning to a new office space, but all programs continue to operate. The organization remains fully committed to supporting matches and expanding community reach.
