Adults age 60 and older and adults with disabilities in Hancock, Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Washington counties. Caregivers are also eligible for support.

Call EAAA to ask about in-person support and current walk-in hours at the Durgin Center. Staff will assess your needs and help connect you with appropriate services and resources.

Eastern Area Agency on Aging serves older adults, adults with disabilities, and caregivers across four counties in eastern Maine: Hancock, Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Washington. From their main office in Brewer, they provide a wide range of services including home-delivered meals, Medicare and insurance counseling, community dining programs, and connections to local resources.
