HHC says its service area covers 20-plus rural communities in Penobscot, Piscataquis, Somerset, and Waldo counties. As an FQHC, they serve patients regardless of ability to pay, offering sliding-scale fees based on income. Hometown Health Center offers medical, behavioral health, and dental services; call to confirm which are available at the Dexter office.
