KVCAP's Head Start program in Skowhegan provides free, high-quality early childhood education for children ages 3-5 from income-eligible families in Somerset County. The program promotes school readiness through structured learning, social skill development, and individualized support. Families receive comprehensive services including health screenings, nutrition education, and referrals to community resources.
