Children ages 3-5 from families at or below the federal poverty level. Families receiving TANF, SSI, or in foster care also qualify.
How they can help.
KVCAP's Head Start center in Waterville offers free early childhood education for children ages 3-5 from income-eligible families in the Kennebec Valley. The program focuses on kindergarten readiness, social-emotional development, and early literacy. Families also receive support services including health referrals, parent education, and connections to other community programs.
