Children ages 3-5 from families at or below the federal poverty level. Families receiving TANF, SSI, or in foster care also qualify.
How they can help.
Mid Maine Community Action's Head Start program in Bath provides free early childhood education for children ages 3-5 from income-eligible families. The program focuses on school readiness through structured learning activities, social-emotional development, and health services. Families also receive support with nutrition, parenting resources, and connections to community services. Transportation may be available.
