Early Head Start serves children ages 6 weeks to 3 years from low-income families. Head Start serves children ages 3 to 5 from low-income families. Both programs serve Knox, Penobscot, and Piscataquis counties.
How to get started
After enrollment, children receive developmental and health screenings and ongoing assessment. Staff support children's learning and help families work toward goals for family well-being.
