Getting started.
Who this helps
Applicants must live in Aroostook County, prove veteran status, have an honorable discharge, report total household income, and have a tank less than half full. Eligible fuels are #2 heating fuel and kerosene.
How to get started
A program representative may contact you after you submit the application for more information, verification, and a decision. If approved, the Foundation and Daigle Oil Company coordinate fuel delivery to your home.

Complete the online Veteran Heating Assistance Application linked from the Veteran Heating Assistance Program page.
Enter household and fuel details.
Provide household income, fuel type, tank size and level, fuel provider, and contact details for anyone helping with your application.
Upload veteran proof.
Attach proof of veteran status, such as a DD-214, VA ID, military or retiree ID, or a state ID or driver's license with a Veteran designation. Submit the complete application.
