Children ages 3-5 from families at or below the federal poverty level. Children in foster care, experiencing homelessness, or receiving TANF are automatically eligible.

Opportunity Alliance Head Start at Canal Elementary in Westbrook offers free early childhood education for children ages 3-5 from low-income families. The program provides a structured learning environment, nutritious meals, developmental screenings, and family support services to help children arrive at kindergarten ready to learn.
