Who this helps
Maine veterans who served from December 7, 1941, through May 8, 1975, are eligible; terminally ill veterans of any era may qualify. Veterans are selected by age, with priority for terminally ill veterans. Applications available on the website.
How to get started
Apply on the website or call. If selected, you will fly from Maine to D.C. with a guardian escort. The day includes visits to the WWII Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Korean War Memorial, and other sites. All meals, transportation, and activities are covered.

Honor Flight Maine is part of the national Honor Flight Network, dedicated to honoring Maine veterans with an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials built in their honor. Each veteran travels with a guardian.
