Who this helps
Honorably discharged veterans who were Maine residents when they entered service or are Maine residents when applying may qualify. Their eligible spouses, widows, widowers, and Gold Star parents may also qualify. Must meet clinical criteria for the level of care needed.

Contact admissions to discuss your care needs and eligibility. A clinical assessment will determine the appropriate level of care. Tours of the facility are available.

Maine Veterans' Homes - Augusta is one of six homes operated by an independent nonprofit organization. The Augusta campus features 138 private rooms providing skilled nursing care, rehabilitation services, memory care, and residential care. All rooms are private with their own bathroom.
