How to get started
Call the helpline to speak directly with an attorney who will assess your legal issue. If the matter can be resolved over the phone, they will help immediately. If you need extended representation, you will be referred to a staff attorney at the nearest office.

Legal Services for Maine Elders provides free legal assistance to persons age 60 and older throughout the state. Their attorneys help with a wide range of issues that affect older Mainers. Offices in Augusta, Bangor, Lewiston, Presque Isle, and Scarborough.
