Adopters must be at least 18 and complete the center's application and screening process. The PAWS Cares vet clinic serves low-income pet owners. Short-term boarding and long-term foster care are available to clients of partner organizations.

P.A.W.S. Animal Adoption Center provides care and adoption services for dogs and cats in Camden and the Midcoast. Beyond adoptions, P.A.W.S. operates the PAWS Cares program, providing low-cost veterinary services to pet owners facing financial hardship.
