Contact the sanctuary about scheduled visiting opportunities. Tours can be scheduled. Volunteers must apply and complete screening and training before setting a regular schedule.

Peace Ridge Sanctuary operates four state-licensed shelters and is home to over 650 rescued animals on more than 2,000 acres in Mid Coast Maine. The sanctuary is accredited by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS) and won the 2024 GFAS Outstanding Sanctuary of the Year Award. Peace Ridge honors the dignity of all animals and provides educational programs about animal welfare.
